Exploring the protected characteristics and British values, Maddy challenged us to think deeply about what it truly means to educate the whole child. Through rich case studies and real-life scenarios, we reflected on our responsibility not only as educators, but as advocates — supporting young people to navigate complexity, difference and the inevitable challenges life brings.

Three years running and her sessions continue to provoke thought, strengthen moral purpose and sharpen practice. That consistency and commitment to inclusive education really matters.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming Maddy back next year.
