Where better to kick off our focus on positive behaviour management than a school that truly leads with love? A huge thank you to All Saints Academy Plymouth, and to Graeme Thornton, Brittany Tong, and the entire team for hosting such a powerful and energising day.

The challenge? Narrowing down the wealth of good practice to just three key techniques to take into school placements this week!

Our approach was informed by the brilliant work of Professor Lee Elliot Major on focusing on capacity, not deficit, and Peps Mccrea’s research on motivation. Paired with the All Saints team’s joyful and purposeful routines — where positive behaviour is loudly narrated and the joy is visible — this sets a powerful foundation for a culture of success.
