The Governing Board of the Lead School

The Governing Board of the Lead School ( West Exe Technology College ) will ultimately take responsibility for the financial management of the course and be accountable to the Department of Education and Skills.

Course Management Group

The Course Management Group meets on four occasions in each academic year at the Lead School.

The Course Management Group includes...

• Headteachers, or their representatives, of the Consortium Schools
• Programme Manager
• The meeting is chaired by the Responsible Officer / Headteacher of Lead School

The Management Group has responsibility for...

• Monitoring all aspects of the Course
• Strategic planning
• Reporting progress to the Lead School Governing Board
• Setting an Appeals Sub-Committee for student disciplinary issues. This Committee should be chaired by a Headteacher of a Consortium School, who has not been in contact with the student.
